This is great. This is the best idea. I'm know as okiestarman, the guy with all the telescopes. Speaking of telescopes see how i got that in, my wife and i are starting up a business in Inola. And here's the best part it costs you no money. Yep that's right no money. When was the last time that you looked up, i mean looked up. Our new business is "have stars will travel". All you have to do is provide a bathroom and power for a fan and a laptop, yep that's all. As the summer months grow it stays light later so we can't start until 9:30 or 10, so for the young ones it might be harder to stay up but if the moons up it's a great sight at 350x. We arrive and set up about 2hours before, the mirror has to reach the same temp. There are lots of programs that the young ones can do with out a scope. It depends on you as to how late we view, if you want to stay out all night or just a few hours. As we are just getting this going you will see fliers around town, plus we are working with Carole Holland at the middle school. My wife and i are members of ACT Astronomy Club of Tulsa--so we also have star parties with them and we will have some out here with some other club members coming out. Well i think this is enough about us. ps if the weather is nice Sunday night we will be setting up on the entrance to the High school.
